Aligned with your capital, market, objectives, and desired role.
Start with one territory or expand across territories or locations.
Grounded in disclosure, economics, and validation.
Designed to create value beyond the owner.
Who this is for
NSFG works with people from a wide range of professional backgrounds. What they share is a desire to apply their experience, capital, and judgment to building something they own.
The profiles we serve
Building alongside a W-2 with a defined transition plan.
Converting experience and capital into an ownership position.
Adding a manager-run or multi-unit platform to a portfolio.
Applying operational discipline and proven systems to ownership.
The ownership model
Single-unit and multi-unit strategies can be built around recurring demand, clear operating responsibilities, deliberate growth, and systems that create value beyond the owner.
Some clients begin with a single territory or a business operated alongside a career. Others pursue multiple units or professional management from the outset. The right structure depends on your capital, market, objectives, and desired role.
Preference for memberships, contracts, repeat services, and other durable revenue patterns.
The operating plan identifies who runs the business and what responsibilities remain with the owner.
Growth is evaluated at the market level, beyond a single unit or ZIP code.
Documented systems and capable management create value beyond personal labor.
What you receive
Before you speak with any franchisor, you receive a Brand Investment Brief for each finalist. Prepared specifically for you, the document puts the case on paper where it can be examined:
If a recommendation cannot be supported in writing, it is not made.
The process
Five defined stages. Written standards. Direct evidence. No pressure to proceed.
Define the ownership role, capital position, target market, time commitment, and long-term objective.
Evaluate franchise systems against the criteria, local market, territory, economics, and growth potential.
Receive a Brand Investment Brief for each finalist covering the model, investment, disclosed performance, risks, and open validation questions.
Meet the franchisor and current owners with prepared questions designed to separate evidence from positioning.
Proceed, investigate further, or walk away. Each can be the right outcome.
Franchisors compensate NSFG when a client invests in a franchise we introduce. You pay no direct consulting fee, and the analysis remains the same whether you proceed or walk away.

About Mike
Mike Kenny spent his corporate career in Silicon Valley leading global organizations with thousands of employees and negotiating multiple billion-dollar commercial agreements.

NSFG is a solo advisory practice. Every client works directly with Mike throughout the process, from profile and market analysis to brand selection, franchisor meetings, and owner validation.

Questions
There is no direct consulting fee to you. If you invest in a franchise introduced through NSFG, the franchisor generally pays NSFG a referral fee. That does not increase your franchise fee.
No. We evaluate opportunities against your leadership experience, skills, capital, desired involvement, and objectives.
Some businesses support part-time or manager-run ownership, while others require the owner to be directly involved. Your available time and daytime flexibility become part of the selection criteria.
The number is less important than the process. We search a broad franchise portfolio, then present only the businesses that meet your agreed criteria.
A listing starts with brands. NSFG starts with what the business must accomplish for you, then builds and documents the case for each recommendation.
